Why this approach works

When kids eat, the mouth becomes acidic. Saliva naturally drops in pH to prepare the stomach for digestion, which is also when teeth are most vulnerable.

Instead of focusing only on brushing after damage occurs, this bundle supports the concept of feeding the teeth first.

By preparing the teeth, gums, saliva, and oral microbiome before and after meals, this approach helps:
• Strengthen enamel
• Support healthy saliva and enzymes
• Reduce plaque accumulation
• Support gum health
• Create a more resilient oral environment

This is preventative oral care rather than reactive care.

How to use the Kids Cavity Rescue Bundle

Follow the six steps to feeding your teeth to help protect enamel and support healthy gums and saliva throughout the day.

Before eating
Before breakfast, lunch, and dinner, use the Kids Flossing Serum and ToothFoods Kids Toothpaste.
This helps prepare the teeth, gums, saliva, and oral microbiome before food enters the mouth.

After eating
After meals, have your child do a quick 30-second light dusting with Pixie Dust.
Use a very gentle touch, as if painting a thin protective layer onto the teeth.
Spit and avoid rinsing with water for 15 to 30 minutes to allow the minerals to sit and support enamel.

Repeat this routine before and after breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

A little goes a long way, and consistency is key.

What families have noticed

With consistent use of the ToothFoods Kids line, families have reported:
• Reduced plaque and tartar buildup
• Healthier gums
• Support for remineralizing early cavities
• Stronger, more resilient teeth
• Improved oral health in cavity prone and sensitive children

Results vary, but the goal is always protection, nourishment, and support.

CAREGIVERS, JOIN IN

Children mimic what you do. Your presence in their oral care routine is powerful.
It’s okay to have an extra toothbrush or floss — make it fun, make it family.
We encourage you to use ToothFoods for yourself and become a ToothFoods Family.
We’re not just brushing. We’re feeding the teeth, supporting the microbiome, and helping raise healthy, cavity-free children.

1. MINDSET FIRST: SING, SMILE, STORYTELL

Make the oral routine a moment of connection.
Skip the screens. Choose a silly song, a good morning story, or a “tooth talk” about how strong their superhero teeth are.

2. MORNING ROUTINE: BEFORE BREAKFAST

Your child’s first oral care moment of the day happens before they eat — because we are feeding their teeth first.

Morning flow (before breakfast):
    1.    Floss with Kids Flossing Serum
    •    Add 1–2 drops to string floss
    •    Never force below gumline (children do not yet have attached gum tissue)
    •    Sing, talk, or tell a story while flossing
    2.    Brush with ToothFoods Kids Toothpaste (¼ pearl size)
    •    Brush gently for 1 minute total (30 seconds top, 30 seconds bottom)
    •    Use soft or extra-soft wet toothbrush
    3.    Scrape the tongue once or twice (pressure of a quarter)
    4.    Rinse
    •    Use filtered water or a small pinch of sea salt in 8 oz of water (just 2–3 crystals)
    •    Swish and spit
    5.    Apply Pixie Dust
    •    Dampen a second toothbrush, shake off excess water
    •    Dip into Pixie Dust and do a 10-second brush
    •    Spit — if they need to rinse, let them
    •    If they’re comfortable, let Pixie Dust sit on their teeth for 5–10 minutes to nourish
    6.    Disinfect toothbrush using ToothFoods Clean Brush Solution
    •    Especially important before school or rest time

3. SNACKING TEETH SUPPORT

Midday or after snacks:
    •    Rinse with water
    •    Quick 15–30 second Pixie Dust brush
    •    Optional: gentle second flossing if needed (especially if stuck food is visible)

Pixie Dust is a tooth vitamin, not a toothpaste — it’s meant to sit and feed the enamel and dentin.

4. AFTER SCHOOL RESET

You can repeat the full flow if your child eats often or has orthodontic appliances.
Otherwise, a mini-routine works:
    1.    Floss if needed
    2.    10–15 second Pixie Dust brush
    3.    Clean brush in Clean Brush Solution

5. EVENING ROUTINE: BEFORE BED

Repeat the morning routine exactly:
    1.    Floss
    2.    Brush
    3.    Tongue scrape
    4.    Rinse
    5.    Apply Pixie Dust
    6.    Disinfect the toothbrush

This bedtime ritual prepares their mouth for overnight healing. During sleep, the mouth slows down its cleaning functions, so support it with ToothFoods.

6. NO TO XYLITOL

ToothFoods Kids Toothpaste is not sweet — and that’s intentional.
We don’t believe in training sugar cravings or desensitizing their taste buds.

Why we say no to xylitol:
    •    Often sourced from GMO corn cobs or GMO sugarcane
    •    Highly processed
    •    Can cause gut inflammation and gingivitis (red, bleeding gums)
    •    Overused, misused, and sweet to a fault

We believe kids can develop rich, curious taste buds — and that dental health is part of emotional intelligence.

7. DENTAL VISITS: EVERY 3–4 MONTHS

Forget the outdated “every 6 months” rule. That model was invented for insurance, not children.

Children thrive with 3–4 month dental hygiene visits to:
    •    Catch early plaque buildup
    •    Reinforce oral care habits
    •    Support microbiome development
    •    Make oral care feel like coaching, not a crisis

At your hygiene visits:
    •    Bring your child’s ToothFoods toothpaste (use it as polish)
    •    Bring Flossing Serum and Pixie Dust
    •    Skip fluoride — apply Pixie Dust instead
    •    Your hygienist can perform gentle spot polishing at no extra cost if needed

Summary
    •    Morning: Floss → Brush → Scrape → Rinse → Pixie Dust → Clean brush
    •    Evening: Same
    •    After meals/snacks: Quick Pixie Dust if possible
    •    Visits: Every 3–4 months with a biological dental hygienist
